Airflow Caravan Features

Aerodynamic shape:

The front of the Caravan is shaped to allow the air from the tow vehicle to flow directly over the van, reducing drag.

Adjustable Ride Height:

The suspension is a fully independent airbag system with an in car remote ride height adjustment feature. While on the highway the caravan will travel at just 200mm above the road surface, but when on rougher terrain the ride height can be increased to 500mm from the road.

The benefits are:

  • Lower centre of gravity
  • More stable towing
  • Reduced turbulent air under the caravan, reducing drag
  • Reduced overall height above tow vehicle, reducing drag

Fuel saving:

Preliminary testing from towing an Airflow Caravan has shown 3L/100km @ 90km/h and 5L/100km @ 100km/h over a conventional caravan.

Space saving:

Caravan is built directly over the draw bar making the overall length 1000mm shorter for the same internal space as a conventional caravan from other manufacturers.

Storage:

The Rear of the caravan opens up to allow transport of large items or "toys" such as bicycles/motorbikes/canoes/go karts/Mobile office, disability equipment. Click here to see demo.

Customised Design:

Each van is custom built for the individual's wants and needs.
